My Story
Once again I will be joining teammates in our commitment to walk 30 miles in three days to provide support, mammograms and treatments. Pledge the Pink, will be held in October 2024 on Amelia Islanda, FL
A potential cancer diagnosis is worrying enough without the fear that there won’t be insurance coverage. Many would struggle or do without treatment. This is why I am asking my friends and family to contribute to Pledge the Pink. We all know someone that as been affected by cancer. Maybe it’s your neighbor, a friend, your mom/dad, daughter/son or sister/brother. Make your donation today in their honor or in their memory. You can make a difference!!!
We have a team goal!! If we met our goal and raise enough money, we’ll be able to bring home 75% to a local breast heath program right here in Sarasota, FL. Two years ago our little team was able to donate over $6,000 to the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Breast Health Program. We would LOVE to help out our community again. Regardless, we’re all working towards the same goal – raising awareness of this awful disease and raising funds to support those who need tests or treatment they may not be able to afford.
Donations are tax deductible. You will get a tax receipt via email for your online donation. If you are sending a check you will receive a tax receipt by mail.
Your check should be made payable to: Pledge the Pink Foundation, a 501c3 entity (so your donation is tax exempt). Please fill out the offline donation form along with your name and address (make sure my name is noted on the check memo line.
