My Story

Hello Friends!

I am fundraising for Pledge The Pink for 2022 and am excited to participate in this 3-day / 30 mile event one step at a time! This is my first year walking as a 1 year survivor of ER-, PR-, HER2+ breast cancer and I can’t wait to participate and support my fellow warriors!

Early detection, amazing doctors, surgeons, chemo/radiation treatments and a village that kept my family in their hearts, prayers but most importantly in their day to day activities while I couldn’t always be there. This is why I am walking. Now it’s my turn to pay it forward. I know that money raised 20, 30, 40 years ago for breast cancer research is why I am here today.

Pledge the Pink distributes the years walk donations to beneficiaries across the country. So, if you are able, please consider supporting our fundraising efforts which help fund breast cancer patient services, treatments and continued research. My goal is to see a day that we may all leave this universe just as the day we arrived, pain and disease free from breast cancer.
