My Story

After completing the Avon Breast Cancer 39.3 mile walk 7 times, I thought I had retired my walking shoes (with the exception of small, local walks!) but, 2 years ago, I signed on for another challenge! In 2019 the Rockin’ Pink team and I headed to Fripp Island, S.C. to participate in the Pledge The Pink 30 Miles in 3 days event (a piece of cake!).
It was so much fun and SO many women (and men) benefited from this event that we are heading there again to do our part for 2021.
We still feel as passionate about raising awareness and helping as many as we can get the care, help, and early detection testing that is desperately needed and hope that you all believe in this cause too and will help us out once again!
