My Story

After a 2 year hiatus from this brest cancer walk (they took it out of state) and raising money for breast cancer treatment, research, mammograms etc, I and team Areola 51 will be doing the Pledge the Pink 30 mile breast cancer walk again this year.
As many of you know, my mom was diagnosed with double breast cancer in February of this year and had a double mastectomy in June. Needless to say it has been a rough year for her.
This year when I walk, I of course, will be walking in honor of my mom, her battle and the battle that she still has to fight during her recovery.
Please consider a donation, not just to help me reach my fundraising goal, but also to help provide potentially life saving mammograms for women who may not be able to afford them.
