My Story

Pledge The Pink is one of my favourite breast cancer fundraising events. 2025 will be my 9th year attending. Walking with others from all over the country for one cause is fun, exciting, inspiring, and rewarding. It is a wonderful celebration and demonstration of what is possible when we all come together for a single purpose: to fight breast cancer and change lives.

Early detection is why I get to celebrate 13 years cancer-free. This organisation provides 1,000 mammograms each year for those who can not afford one. Pink Flamingos are the mascot; each year, donors purchase them to fund programs sponsored by PTP. They are lovingly referred to as our Flocks of love
