My Story
Hello and thank you for visiting my page.
A quick review of my “pink” story! From 2002 to 2012, I raised over $26,000 and walked the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. We walked miles with blisters and sore muscles and would always say it was a cake walk compared to chemo. It was a tremendously rewarding experience. Many of the friends I made there are still friends now and through them, I’ve found Pledge The Pink! I have walked it for the last 2 years on beautiful Fripp Island in 2022 and Oak Island, NC last year. This year, we will be walking on picturesque Amelia Island, Florida. With your help, I hope to raise at least $1000 by mid-September to be on track to raise $1500 total by mid-October!! To those of you who have supported me in the past, thank you!! I hope you will consider being a part of my team this year. Please know that any amount you can give to this cause DOES make a difference!!!
The money raised will go to a number of very deserving charities providing preventive care and treatment for those who are battling this horrible disease.
Finally, I ask you for prayers for those afflicted, including my 2nd cousin T, that God would wrap them in his arms of protection, strength and love so that they may continue to fight the battle.
