My Story

I am living a story that I could never have imagined. Someone I considered like a daughter, Elaine Faye, lost her four-year battle in 2022. Family and friends have been devastated as she was so young. She will be the angel running with me. My battle with breast cancer began in 2024, and so many within the breast community have helped me so much. This is my give-back. I need more virtual angels on my team, so please consider supporting a great cause. Pledge the Pink is a really fun group that is dedicated to raising funds to support those going through their cancer journeys. It is a 30-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever. We can do this!!! YOU KNOW HOW I AM!!! See less
