My Story

I am lacing up my shoes for my 9th walk this year. I started walking when my husband’s grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I now walk in her memory and the memory and in honor of family and friends. This year I am walking in memory of a dear friend that lost her battle to metastatic breast cancer. Walking these miles is minimal compared to what a person with breast cancer goes through.
This isn’t just a walk; this isn’t about taking three days to get blisters and cramps for the fun of it. This is a statement of strength and determination, the same strength and determination that a person with a breast cancer diagnoses must have to fight it. The money you donate is to help find a cure
