My Story

I am a proud breast cancer survivor. I found a lump in my breast in July of 2023 and my journey started then. There is no history of breast cancer in my family and I really thought it would be nothing. But it was the “C” word that no one wants to hear.

I am going to (try to) walk 30 miles and raise funds for breast cancer. I am representing Gibbs Cancer Center, where I not only work, but it is where I had my chemo and radiation treatments and got to ring that bell.

I’m excited to join 1500 other men and women, including my sister and niece that are raising money for mammograms, research and so much more.
