My Story

Suzanne and I have proudly been FlockStars for the past seven years, and we’re thrilled to be returning for our 8th year! We began walking in memory of our amazing mom, Lenora Thomas, who passed away in 2015 after battling breast cancer. She lived her life to the fullest, never letting breast cancer define her. If she had known about this incredible event, I’m certain she would have joined us, completing every mile with a smile.

We walk with Pledge the Pink because their foundation truly makes a difference, providing funding for breast cancer screenings, treatment, outreach, and research—especially for those who face barriers to care. We want every donation to count.

Breast cancer has taken so much from so many, and we’re determined to help find a way to end it. While our goal is to raise $5,000, is any goal too high when it comes to saving lives? Every penny, every dollar matters. Together, we can make a difference!
