My Story

Here I go again! I am 6 years cancer free now and gearing up for my next 30 mile walk in October this year! My goal is to help others get the support they need what going through breast cancer. Back in 2020, just before COVID, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer. I remember how scared I was hearing the news and the treatment plan that I was going to have to go though. All of the drs and nurses were so nice and understanding at UNC cancer center. I am extremely thankful for all of the support I received during that time and it has continued since then. Did you know that every $100 donated will provide someone else in need a free mammogram? I would really like to be able to give back to help others get the screening and other resources they need during this time!
