My Story

I’ll be participating in my 6th Pledge the Pink walk this year with a wonderful group of ladies! 30 miles over 3 days with the most beautiful scenery.

2026’s walk brings us to Oak Island, NC. It will be my first time there, and I have heard amazing things about it! The theme for 2026 will be Fancy’s Sweet Sixteen Mardi Gras Masquerade .

Although fundraising is not required, it is greatly encouraged. Every $100 raised pays for a mammogram and earns us a flamingo to set up in the flocks of love on display all weekend. There were over 9,000 on display all over Fripp. We raised a record high of over a $1 million in 2025 and hoping we can reach that goal again in 2026
