My Story

Hey Friends! I’m so excited to embark on my second Pledge The Pink weekend coming up in October 2026. Breast cancer affects us all, I had such an amazing time last year and can’t wait for Oak Island this year. I didn’t know how much my heart needed to be around so many women that were truly amazing. I left with so many new friendships. This year I’m bringing my daughter; she is going to love this group of people!

In my family a great grandmother battled it along with a cousin. I also have friends that have battled and are starting the battle of breast cancer. I had my first mammogram at age 27, and again at 33, and this is the big year 40 so my next one is planned. This cause is amazing, every dollar donated goes back to YOUR state to help women pay for mammograms. Yes you read that correctly, you will be helping women in your area get the crucial testing they need. Please find it in your heart to help.
