My Story
A dear friend told me about Pledge the Pink in 2008 after the loss of an aunt to breast cancer. I’ve been telling myself since then, I should do this walk in support of my friend and thousands of other women. Now that I have retired from the military, I no longer have an excuse to not enter this event and raise money help others.
I love helping others and a personal fitness challenge adds to the purpose. Additionally, my mother is a breast cancer survivor.
