My Story

Pledge the Pink 2026 is my 13th breast cancer walk.

In 2010 I was inspired to walk by my friend Maria who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 38 and a kitty named Tallulah who taught me that cats get breast cancer too.

In 2013 our own kitty, Sugar, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite the best of care, Sugar’s breast cancer took her from us only 16 months after her diagnosis.

Please support me as I walk to end breast cancer for all of us and to raise awareness that pets get breast cancer too.
