My Story

It is my great honor to walk again with my Sugar’s Trekkers for Ta-Ta’s teammates in the Pledge the Pink walk in October 2025..

I walk for too many friends and family members who have heard the scary words, “You have cancer.” This year, I’ll be walking to support my sister, Ellen Windmiller, whose ovarian cancer is no longer in remission; for Barbara Sutcliffe, who passed on December 31 from cholangeocarcinoma; and for Amy Bratt-Bradley who recently underwent treatment for breast cancer. I am also walking in memory of Phill Rieman, who passed from throat cancer, and for my dearly departed brother in law Joseph Yaver who also had cholangiocarcinoma.

I am also walking to celebrate life, to get out there and MOVE, and to spend time with my dear Sugar’s Trekkers teammates from all over the USA!

And remember…. Pets get breast cancer too!

Please contribute if you can. Let’s make 2025 the year we kick ALL cancer to the curb for good! Thank you SO much for your support!!
