My Story
Since 2004, our team has proudly walked in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day, completing 60 miles each year to raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer. That journey has always been deeply personal to us, rooted in a commitment to make a difference.
As our mission has remained steadfast—to help end breast cancer—we made the decision to transition from the Susan G. Komen 3-Day event to an organization that more closely aligns with our values. That led us to the Pledge the Pink Foundation.
After extensive research, we found that Pledge the Pink’s mission truly reflects what matters most to us, and we began walking with PTP in 2018.
Equally important to us is supporting our local community. Our hometown charity of choice is the Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida, led by the incredible Ashley Lloyd—a breast cancer survivor whose strength and passion are nothing short of inspiring. She is fierce, driven, and taking the foundation to new heights, ensuring that support reaches those right here at home.
Knowing that the funds we raise not only support a powerful national mission but also come back to help individuals in our own community makes this journey even more meaningful.
We walk for those we’ve lost, for those still fighting, and for a future where no one has to face breast cancer alone.
