My Story

Breast Cancer first touched my life when my bestie’s mother was diagnosed. This was many years ago. Although Miss
Wanda’s treatment was successful, it hit home that this terrible disease could have taken her too soon. It also brought up the likelihood that her three daughters would also experience a breast cancer diagnosis. Since that first experience with breast cancer, there have unfortunately been so many other friends that have had it enter their lives. I walk for Miss Wanda and all the others in the hope that we can advance the treatment and prevention of breast cancer. Mammograms save lives.
