My Story

Why I walk – I walk because it is something I can do … I haven’t walked in the shoes of a breast cancer patient so I can’t understand having the diagnosis and facing the treatments but I can walk to raise funds … And my goal to work towards a world without breast cancer – where our daughters and granddaughters will not face this diagnosis

Walking in honor and in memory of so many courageous women and men makes it easy to continue through all the miles. And I walk especially in memory of my step-daughter, Kim, my college friend, Dabney and my neighbor, Dianne.

I truly appreciate your financial support and your encouragement; please let me know if there is someone I can walk in honor of or in memory of – I put their names on the ribbons and I love walking with the names that are part of my story all around me in my tutu!
