Team Story
Kansas Walkers For Knockers is a group of passionate women from small town Kansas who want to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. We have previously done the Avon 39 (Chicago, DC, Rocky Mts, San Fran, Santa Barbara, and Houston), the Georgia 2 Day 30 mile walk in Atlanta 2018, 2019, and 2020, and 2019 Pledge the Pink and the Virtual 2020 Georgia and PTP.
The Chest-Nuts are a group of 5 women from Cary, NC. Head Chest-Nut is Tracey Camut, who was diagnosed in 2016 with Stage 4 breast cancer.
The two forces have combined and we are now merged with NC team, The Chest-Nuts!!!
We have raised $160,000+ in 12 years. Money we raise supports Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Duke Breast Cancer Unit to the Family Therapy Department.
