Team Taffy

Our team is Pledging in memory of Rita Marie “Taffy” Sloan (1943-1983). Fierce and inspiring, she defined strength, beauty, and love. She was taken too soon. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will never know what an amazing woman, wife, mother, she was except through our eyes and how we represent her.

In her honor, we are participating in this 3-day, 30-mile, breast cancer event that truly benefits breast cancer patients and makes a positive impact on lives. The mammogram donations campaign is a significant way to impact a positive change through early diagnosis and treatment. But Pledge the Pink funds do even more through the funding of patient services like transportation to treatment. Real needs are met through the money raised by this event.
