My Story

Breast cancer has touched my family in a very personal way. My mom is a survivor of triple-negative breast cancer, and my Nana is also a breast cancer survivor. Because of my family history, I am now closely monitored as part of a high-risk group, making this cause especially meaningful to me. That’s why I’m proud to support Pledge the Pink Foundation, whose mission goes beyond raising awareness by providing critical funding for breast cancer screenings, biopsies, treatment support, and ongoing research. The organization focuses on “gap funding,” helping eliminate bureaucratic red tape so patients can access the care they need when they need it most. Through fundraising and advocacy, we hope to help expand this incredible model and bring its impact to Pittsburgh in the future, ensuring more individuals and families receive timely, life-saving care.
