My Story
Hello Friends & Family:
It is that time again when I reach out and ask you to consider supporting my upcoming Pledge the Pink walk. This event raises money to fund mammograms and other critical breast cancer support services. In fact, every $100 donated can fund a mammogram—and that could save a life.
Each year, this event is both inspiring and deeply personal. Sadly, with each passing year, more friends and families are affected by cancer, including breast cancer. That is why I am once again taking part in the 30-mile Pledge the Pink event, taking place October 15–18, 2026. This year’s event will be held in Oak Island, North Carolina, and I am proud to walk alongside so many others in support of this important cause.
Our team, Local Lady Lumps, is walking in honor of the friends, family members, and loved ones who have faced cancer. My personal fundraising goal this year is $5,500, and I would truly appreciate your help in getting there.
No amount is too small—every dollar makes a difference. Whether it is the cost of a coffee, a glass of wine, or a small everyday treat, your donation can help provide life-saving screenings and support to someone who needs it. If everyone I reach out to gives even a little, it adds up in a powerful way.
The overall 2026 fundraising goal for Pledge the Pink is $1,000,000, and I am hopeful that together we can help make a meaningful impact.
