My Story

Hello Friends & Family:

It is that time again when I reach out to each of you with the hopes that you can consider donating to my upcoming walk. Did you know that $100 funds a mammogram? Which means that every 100 dollars I get donated could save a life.

Last year’s event our team grew and I made lots of new friends. Since this past walk I have had multiple friends and family who have unfortunately been diagnosed with some type of cancer, a few with Breast Cancer. A few that are going through treatment now. We are all in this for the fight to help find a cure and with that I need each of your help to meet my goal. Me and my team are once again doing a 30 mile walk on October 16-19, 2025 to help raise money for Breast Cancer.

We have a team of ladies this year, “Loco Lady Lumps” and we are there to represent all our friends and families who have a loved one who has battled cancer. This year my personal goal remains $5,000. I made it half way last year and really hope to get closer to my goal this year.

To get to this goal no amount is too small. Every dollar counts. So, bypass that Starbucks, donate the amount you would pay to buy me a glass of nice wine, skip the hat you normally buy me as a thank you and donate to Pledge the Pink instead. Even a dollar from everyone I reach out to will add up, so keep in mind, any amount will do.

The overall goal for the event is $750k and I have faith that we will be able to make that goal.
