My Story

I was diagnosed with Stage 0 Breast Cancer in March of 2015. It was discovered through my annual mammogram, had a biopsy, lumpectomy and 33 rounds of radiation. I am 10 years 5 cancer free and very blessed. This year’s walk is on Fripp Island. There are 3 of us walking. Our team name is Steel Crazy for TATAs. It is a 3 day, 10 miles a day walk. We raised $9,617.95, I was able to bring back 75% of the money raised ($7213.46) going to the Cancer Resource Center in Munster. This year my goal is $5,000 and hope to surpass this amount. I am hoping to be able to donate 75% to the Cancer Resource Center once again. Thank you in advance for your support.
