My Story

Pledge The Pink is one of my favorite breast cancer fundraising events, 2024 will be my 7th year attending. It’s lovingly referred to as the Best Darn Weekend of Your Life. Walking with others from all over the country for one cause is fun, exciting, inspiring, and rewarding. It is a wonderful demonstration of what is possible when we all come together for one purpose to fight breast cancer, and change lives.

The theme is Pink Flamingos, and an incredible display of Plastic Pink Flamingos acknowledges donations. Every $50 donation buys a flamingo, and 2 flamingos pay for a mammogram! Early detection is why I get to celebrate 12 years cancer free.
