My Story

Hi Friends,
I am in for my 5th Pledge the Pink in October of 2023. This time the walk will be in Oak Island, NC. Another year and I have had more friends diagnosed with breast cancer. I am sure you are all the same. I am asking for your help to reach my goal of $2024 this year. Every $100 pays for a mammogram. Also, when our team raises $5000 we bring most of the money back to our local charity benefitting cancer research. I will walk 33 1/3 miles in 3 days to support the cause. Yes, the final day will be a half marathon (Yikes!) This past walk left me with many blisters and sore feet but it is nothing compared to fighting cancer. Let’s all help in eradicating this awful disease.
