My Story
Did you know that $100 pays for a mammogram for a woman who can’t afford one?
This will be my 4th long walk to beat breast cancer. To date, I have raised over $23,000 to crush breast cancer. This year, I will walk 30 miles in 3 days. People ask me why.
Because I hate this disease.
Because I use the walk as a platform to raise funds, funds for research to end breast cancer, funds to pay for mammograms for women who can’t afford them, and funds to provide services to women fighting this disease.
Because I want to live to see the day where no young mother has to tell her children that she has cancer.
Because I can. I am one of the lucky ones who beat this disease and that allows me to continue fighting.
