My Story

In 2001 I began participating in fundraising Walks for Breast Cancer in memory of a dear friend and co-worker. In 2019 I completed my first walk as a Breast Cancer Survivor. Once again I will be participating in a 3-day 30 mile walk to support the breast cancer initiative.

I am confident that fundraising efforts to support early detection and treatment through organizations like Pledge the Pink is the reason I am celebrating 5 years cancer free this year.

It will be a joy to participate in Pledge the Pink but the most important part is the fundraising! If you are able to support the cause this year, it would be greatly appreciated!

I have so much respect for this organization, their mission and the way they carry it out. Even though the organization is based in South Carolina, I am able to raise funds for a local charity that supports local breast cancer treatment efforts. And 100% of the fundraising goes to breast cancer organizations!
