My Story

In 2001 I began participating in fundraising Walks for Breast Cancer. In 2019 I completed my first walk as a Breast Cancer Survivor! That walk was Pledge the Pink.

As with most charity events, Pledge the Pink was virtual in 2020 and 2021. I”m excited to be back on Fripp Island, SC in October to walk 30 miles over 3 days.

However, the most important part is the fundraising! If you are able to support this cause this year, it would be greatly appreciated!

I have so much respect for this organization, their mission and the way they carry it out. Even though the organization is based in South Carolina, I am able to raise funds for a local charity that supports local breast cancer treatment efforts. And 100% of the fundraising goes to breast cancer organizations!
