My Story

We all know cancer sucks! And undoubtedly, we have all been affected by cancer in some way. Some of us have personal experiences. Many of us have battled along with a loved one. Either way, no one can deny the fear, pain and sadness cancer spreads.

This will be my 4th year participating in Pledge the Pink. Our group Local Lady Lumps have had such a blast each year meeting people from all over the country, hearing their stories and ultimately helping raise money for this cause! Our team has grown and we are looking forward to more fun fellowship in Oak Island October 2026. We will walk 30 miles over three days!

Pledge the Pink’s goal is to raise 1 million dollars! I sincerely appreciate any help you may feel lead to give – your well wishes, prayers or donations.
