My Story

Hello friends and family,

I’m so very happy to share that it’s been a year, February 7 2025, when I completed radiation and was able to ring the bell. I am a proud, grateful survivor!!

This experience has changed my life like nothing I could have imagined. It has given me pause, strength, resilience, patience, and thankfulness to be where I am today. It has also shaped my world in wanting to make certain I give back and do all that I can in this ongoing battle, be it a shoulder, hugs, sharing stories, offering support and in continuing to raise awareness and funds in the ongoing fight for a cure. And in this journey, I am so thankful to have been welcomed into this amazing group, Pledge the Pink.

Last year was my first year to walk in October and I have to say I have honestly never experienced anything like it! This is much more than a walk and an organization to support Breast Cancer. This is a crusade, a revival, a movement of love and determination. These three days of 10 miles each day is one of the most rewarding, emotional, inspirational and loving events I’ve ever had an opportunity to be a part of. Pledge the Pink is truly a family, a village of warriors and supporters all fighting the fight together.

I am very happy to join my team, Team BooBees, again this year in October to continue the fight and see if we can break even more records in our goal this year!

~For the record, last year Pledge the Pink raised just over $1 MILLION!! Completely breaking our records from previous years so we’re hoping to hit that $1M mark again!~

I hope that you will consider supporting this great cause and make a donation, every bit helps!

And most importantly, continue to get your annual exams, encourage your loved ones to do the same and continue to offer support to those faced with this disease. It all makes a tremendous difference when you’re going thru it.
