Hi Kate,
I hear you and Tommy moved away. I have been looking all over the US for a place to move. I had to have a total knee replacement which was horribly botched, and need an L4-5 Lumbar fusion with two 3" screws, so I can't do anything physical anymore. Hyperparathyrodism was undiagnosed for so long, I now have severe osteoporosis. I never thought I'd end up like this. I hear one of you was badly hurt, too, so I'm preaching to the choir! I live in Somerset, CO, near Paonia. I have a cute little house, but I live amongst a bunch of people that are radically different than I am. If you guys drive out for a visit, you're welcome to stay with me! I'm only 38 miles from Crested Butte and not far from the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. This place is cool, I worked here for 2 summers: bigbs.com

My Story

Hi! You all know my story by now…I lost one of my best girlfriends to breast cancer, one of my best buddies to skin cancer, and my brother, Michael, and my dear friend, Brad to colon cancer. After walking over three hundred miles in 8 Avon walks in various cities, last year we switched to Pledge the Pink, which is a 3 day, 30 mile walk in South Carolina. We are heading back to South Carolina for Pledge the Pink again on Oct 24th. Hopefully you can help me by making a donation. Large or small, I appreciate them all. Thank you in advance for your donations and helping spread awareness.

Hi Kate,
I hear you and Tommy moved away. I have been looking all over the US for a place to move.
