My Story

Some of the toughest and bravest people I know are those that have stared down cancer and then battled beyond what they thought would be their capability.
I’m reuniting with my team at Fripp Island for my 18th year to take to the streets and beach sand. It is our own way of joining the fight and bringing awareness to the cause. In addition to walking for our many, many friends and family members, we are once again walking to bring awareness that our pets can get breast cancer, too.
I’m dedicating my walk this year to two very dear friends who lost their battles to breast cancer in the past year. They were both young and vibrant, and stared down cancer with everything they had. I miss them both so much, every day.
You can help by supporting my walk with a donation. Or even by cheering us on. It all counts and it is all appreciated. But I’ve set my fundraising goal at $1,000.00, and those funds will be very well used to help a lot of people. Skip the Starbucks one day; you won’t miss it that much!
