New Kids In The Flock Team Fundraising

It all started with a Flamingo…well, it actually started in 2021 when your girlfriends, Alicia & Charri (survivor!) text you with “so we did a thing” and include a link to the 2022 “Pledge The Pink” 3 day/30 mile walk on Fripp Island, SC…fast forward to now and 4 of the 11 original New Kids In The Flock (NKITF) teammates have recruited four newbies to our team for the 2023 PTP 3 day/33.1 mile (day 3 is now a half marathon…because 30 miles is 3 days is not enough!) walk to benefit The PTP Foundation (underlying mission is to raise money in the fight against breast cancer).

In <100 days…8 awesome ladies/new and longtime sister/girlfriends for 35+ years from California (Julie), Florida (Lynda), Illinois (Kim), Maryland (KarenA), New York (Laurie), North Carolina (Alicia), Rhode Island (KarenR & survivor) and Vermont (Subha) are now training for the 2023 PTP charity walk October 20th-22nd on Oak Island, North Carolina.

Welcome to the NKITF 2023 Team fundraising page. We’re just getting started, but last year our goal was $5k and we raised $13,524 of the $715,278 grand total that was dispersed to agencies & organizations the PTP charity board selects for breast cancer screening, treatment and research programs across the country.
