New Kids In The Flock Team 2026 Fundraising

It all started with a Flamingo…well, it actually started in 2021 when girlfriends, Alicia & Charri (survivor!) text you with “so we did a thing” & include a link to the 2022 “Pledge The Pink” 3 day/30 mile walk on Fripp Island, SC…fast forward to 2026…3 of the 11 original 2022 NKITF are walking for our 5th year in a row plus 6 are returning for their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year AND we have 3 Newbies (1 Survivor) for total of 13 walkers this year to benefit The PTP Foundation (underlying mission: raise money in the fight against breast cancer).

In 147 days…13 new & longtime sister/girlfriends for 40+ years from 6 states: Oregon (Michele), Florida (Lynda & Tammy, Massachusetts (LynnieC & Tracey), New York (LynnieK), North Carolina (Alicia & newbie Heidi) and South Carolina (newbies Kim-our Survivor, Pam & Barb) are now training for the 2026 PTP charity walk October 16th-18th on Oak Island, NC. Last year we amazed ourselves with PTP’s 15 year anniversary and as a group of 1,500 warriors surpassed $1M in fundraising for the first time in PTP history! Needless to say, but to celebrate Fancy’s Sweet 16 and we’re coming together once again not only to raise $ for a cause near & dear to each of us, but we to get to spend quality time with some of the most awesome women in our lives is priceless!

Welcome to the NKITF 2026 Team fundraising page. We’re just getting started, but last year we raised $12.3k of the $1M+ grand total that was dispersed to agencies & organizations the PTP charity board selects for breast cancer screening, treatment & research programs across the country.
