Wandering Warriors

We are a group of warriors who have all been affected by cancer in one way or another. 4 of us are survivors and we have all watched family and friends affected by this horrible disease. Some of us came to PtP in 2019, Virtually in 2020, and again in 2021 and 2022. We have now recruited more gals and are ready for our time on Oak Island. This 4-day, 30-mile, cancer-kicking weekend is perfect for us.

All of us have supported family and friends in many cancer walks around the country, including Race for the Cure, Relay for Life, Making Strides, Avon 39, Avon 3 day, Lungevity, and Pledge the Pink. We are all very grateful for the support and research that has gone into fighting this disease and we are ready to continue to fight for the cause and have some fun on Oak Island.

In honor of our survivors, and friends & family who lost the battle, and the spirit of ‘No One Fights Alone’, we are walking together this year in hopes to help raise money for cancer research.
