Team Story
Breast Buds started as Christal’s BRCA Victory Tour in 2015 when we did our first Avon39 Walk to End Breast Cancer. We have traveled to New York, California, South Carolina and Florida. 2026 will be our 7th Pledge the Pink and this year the event is back at Oak Island, NC! Over the years, our team has proudly raised over $57,700.
Our team goal this year is $15,000! Once we surpass $5k, we get to choose which charity will be the recipient of 75% of our money raised and this year our monies will be split between the Novant Breast Health Fund and the UNC Rex Mammography Assistance Fund!
Help us to pay for mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women across North and South Carolina! Every penny helps and no donation is too small.
