My Story

Hello 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and now 2025. yes I’m at it again, until. Plus this is FANCY 15 year Bday!!

When I started walking over 20 plus years ago with Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, it was for my grandmother who I lost to cancer, then my daughter was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer 2019. So now, I’m angry beyond words that this stupid thing called CANCER has invaded our lives again. In now 2023 this stupid thing came back stage 4 and tried to trip my baby up on so many levels, and she didn’t allow it at all, Fandrea Strong Always. She is so my hero and my strength on so many levels.

I am always walking because somewhere in the United States someone’s grandmother, mother, aunt, sister, daughter or friend is diagnosed with breast cancer. I am sure we all know someone whose life has been forever changed by this terrible, vicious disease, I know mine has on so many levels.

This walk and every walk will be for her and so many like her!!
