Christal and Maggie's Breast Buds Fundraising Page

On October 16 -19, 2025, Maggie and I will be walking in the Pledge the Pink Walk in Fripp Island, South Carolina. Over the years, my friends and I have walked many, many miles and raised over $44,500. Maggie and I will be walking for many reasons here are a few: to raise money for research and preventative mammograms for those who need them, to honor my mom who lost her battle with this disease in 2002, and to show our support for breast cancer warriors everywhere. This year, I can’t wait to celebrate life, love, and friendship with some of my closest friends. My team and I are also very happy to announce that once we raise $5000.00, the Pledge the Pink Foundation will donate 75% of the money that we raise to Novant’s Breast Health Fund in the Carolinas. This organization provides mammograms to the uninsured, and this could be life-saving for someone. All of my journey has been through Novant, and to know that if we meet this $5000 goal, we will be able to give back to such a wonderful hospital and know that we could save someone is extremely heartwarming. We are excited to take on this challenge and can’t wait to walk 30 miles for this cause!
