My Story
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2023. That was a day that I would not wish on anyone. I received a Lumpetomy, Chemotherapy and Radiation. The Chemotherapy was rough and I had some bad days. The best thing that came out of my journey, other than surviving, was the awesome people I met and the strong woman that were traveling the same road as myself.
In October 2024 I volunteered, for the first time, with Pledge the Pink. What a wonderful group of people! We had such a wonderful time and I could not wait to become a part of this great group of people and help make a difference in someone’s life. Being a part of PTP is a great way to give to these who may not have the opportunities others may have.
My passion is to talk to woman about what to expect and what to do to make this process a little bit easier. I could not have done it without God, my family and my friends. No One Fights Alone!!
