My Story

Every time I lace up my sneakers and hit the pavement, I feel like I’m giving those daunting words— “You have cancer”—a run for their money. Walking isn’t just exercise; it’s my way of sharing hope and celebrating resilience, with my family as the heart of it all. My mom, my pink angel, could light up any room with her quick wit and endless hugs, making everyone feel like part of the family. When she needed care, my oldest brother and his wife stepped up, showing incredible love and strength right to the very end. Their dedication keeps me going and inspires me to walk for a cure with extra pep in my step. The PTP Foundation embodies everything my mom treasured: family, faith, love, and hope. As fellow walkers, we unite to spread awareness, raise funds, and cheer each other on, all while aiming to cross the finish line and leave cancer in the dust.
