My Story

Walking is my way of saying no to those dreaded words: “You have cancer.” Every step tells a story of hope and resilience. My journey is inspired by my family—especially my mom, a loving, playful woman who made everyone feel special with her jokes and warm hugs. Though caregiving isn’t in my DNA, I’ve been blessed to witness the dedication of my sister-in-law and brother caring for my mom through her battle with dementia and cancer. Their love and strength motivate me to walk for a cure. The PTP Foundation embodies the values my mom cherished: family, faith, love, and hope. Together, as fellow walkers, we’re raising awareness, funds, and support to cross the finish line—toward a world without cancer.
