My Story

Breast Cancer affects millions of lives each year and its impact reaches far beyond those diagnosed. It does not discriminate, touching people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life.
This year, I was asked by my cousin Karen, a 7 year breast cancer survivor, to participate in the Pledge the Pink 30 miles in 3 days (yes seriously 30 miles in 3 days) in Amelia Island Florida. I, like so many of you, have other family (my grandmother( and many friends that have been affected by this disease.
The event happens to fall on my 60th birthday. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my bday than to honor all those affected and carried themselves with grace through their journeys.
I would love to have you help me support this fight through prayers, sending good vibes and if you feel compelled, a donation to this special organization Pledge the Pink. They focus on Early Diagnosis, Life Saving treatments and groundbreaking research.
I am looking forward to this next trip around the sun! Thank you for lifting these warriors up with you support! I am always grateful! Life is Good! Slainte!
