My Story

It is my honor to able to walk with Pledge the Pink again this year. It was an inspiration to walk 10 miles a day for three days with amazing people.

I was so inspired by one team whose members took turns pushing a team member in her wheelchair. Unfortunately, she passed this winter. But she and her team were fighters.

I am not sharing my whole story about my battle with Breast Cancer this time because many of you know it and were so supportive.

In March of 2022 I was diagnosed with 3 Negative Breast cancer. What a shock it was. I can’t encourage women enough to get a mammogram.

I had incredible support from my husband, our children, family and friends.

It was amazing when I was told I was ‘CANCER FREE!

Being a cancer “thriver”. It’s a lifetime journey to be strong, have courage, and live each day knowing faith is stronger than fear.

I am asking again for your support for such a wonderful cause. Any amount helps. The money I raise at this event returns to Pennsylvania. Please help me reach my goal.
I am unable to walk the 10 miles a day this year because I have a broken kneecap and I needed surgery. I am on the mend .
I do plan on walking as much as I possibly can. I do appreciate your support..
I would like to thank everyone who has donated shoes for our fundraiser we collected 121 bags of shoes that had 25 pairs of shoes in each bag which equals 3,025!!!!
We were so excited that people were so generous with their shoes Thank you again for your support.
