My Story
This is my 3rd year participating in Pledge the Pink. This year the 3 day, 30 mile walk is on Amelia Island, FL from October 18th to the 20th. It’s been an honor to support the Pledge the Pink Foundation’s mission:
To grant critical funding to nonprofit organizations providing breast cancer screening, treatment, and outreach programs to an often underserved population and support vital research in an effort to find a cure for breast cancer.
Our team New Kids In The Flock has raised over $17K so far with a goal of $20K
The stories of the survivors and those who have lost their lives to cancer helped me appreciate every moment of a healthy life I’ve been fortunate to have. This year is even more special as I’m walking in honor of my cousin who fought this battle this year with both chemo and radiation! She is an inspiration to me and will be on my mind the entire 3 days, 30 miles.
Please join me again and donate to my Pledge the Pink team for those who have survived and those who lost the battle.
