My Story

25 years old. You may think that’s too young. But that was the age I was when I got diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I felt a lump and went to the doctor. Thankfully that doctor listen to my concern and said I am sure it isn’t anything but just in case let’s move forward with a biopsy. That saved my life. It was indeed cancer. My family and loved ones were there by my side through it all. You can see pictures of my sister with me when I was bald. I want to raise money so any woman no matter what age can get a mammogram when needed and not have to worry about the cost. I was a freshman in college and because of programs out there I could get the testing I needed to save my life.

In October, I will run/walk 30 miles in search for the cure.
