My Story

I started walking because I lost 2 dear friends to breast cancer. Watching them struggle broke my heart, and left me feeling angry and helpless. I won’t be helpless, I need to do something to help others struggling win their battle against breast cancer. The walk is important; but raising funds to help women beat this menace is crucial. This is my fifth walk, and this year I have increased my goal to $5000 to reflect that.
I walk for my 3 daughters, 8 grand daughters, 2 dil, 8 nieces, and so many friends (both known and future). I am hoping you will get support Pledge the Pink, walking, fundraising, donating, changing lives.
