My Story

Hola Mi Familia y Amigos: I am so excited to share I will be walking Pledge the Pink October 15-18, 2026. I will be traveling to Oak Island, North Carolina. I have walked for many causes: Alzheimer’s, Relay for Life, Komen/Avon Breast Cancer Walks, Lupus and Ovarian Cancer…Pledge the Pink is truly one of my favorite walks. I am a very proud member of the PINK SOLE SISTERS TEAM. The camaraderie, love and cause is fabulous and life changing. We will be walking for 3 days, 10 miles a day. What a special year for me to have two bionic knees and bionic hip …oh and turning 70! Nothing is ever going to stop me from making a difference, even if that means more bionic parts. If you can, please join me and make a difference. Please help me reach my goal of $1,500 by 9/15/2026. I know the cost of living has gone up astronomically, I ask you to give what you can. We all can help eradicate BREAST CANCER. You can help fund mammograms, support research programs, and spread knowledge and foster hope in the fight against breast cancer.
