My Story

I chose breast cancer as my cause because so many of my family and friends have been diagnosed with it. My journey started in 2006 after my mother was diagnosed and 2 of my BFF’s were diagnosed and we had lost my mother-in-law. I realized then that I needed to help raise money so a cure can be found. With early detection, nowadays survivorship is high, and that is thanks to the amazing treatments available. But, in the US there will be an estimated 310,720 women and 2,790 men diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2024. The fight cannot stop.
