My Story

Friends and family…..I am doing a 30 mile walk over 3 days in October to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Why? A friend asked me last year if I would be interested in walking with her. She has been walking for breast cancer for several years. Of course I said yes. At that time I was thinking of my grandmother, mother, cousin and friends who have survived this cancer. Now here is the irony. My friend who is passionate about finding a cure and who I think is amazing (she does the 60 mile Susan Komen walk every year) was recently diagnosed herself with breast cancer and is currently going through chemotherapy and radiation. She and I will be walking together for this cause. Any donation is greatly appreciated. I will post pictures of the walk.
