My Story
This walk is AWESOME!!!! Flamingos EVERYWHERE, friendly faces, so much love going around and a whole lot of fun.
October 19 – 23, 2023 will take place on Oak Island, NC. I have been watching the T.V. show “Buried Treasure on Oak Island” and I WILL be on the look out.
3 Days, 33 Miles
This walk is called Pledge the Pink.
If…. I mean when my team, For 3 Sisters, Inc., raises over $5,000, 75% of the total will go to this organization I have become very attached to. Please visit their website at F3S.org for more info.
The other 25% will go into a big pot to be dispersed to agencies/organizations that the charity board selects based largely on walker recommendations.
In 2021, my team collectively raised $8,540 which meant For 3 Sisters received a check for $6,400!!!!
In 2022, my team collectively raised $13,208 AND another team threw in their loot of $5,783. For 3 Sisters is so blessed and will receive a check for $14,243!!!! WOHOO
So, if you have a few extra bucks to donate, I’d really be grateful.
