My Story

“Cancer” is a word that hits us all so hard. I lost my mom to that awful word 12 years ago and it was devastating. I, as many people have lost so many to it or been on the battlefield with someone we love fighting that word. My cousin first started this walk when she was diagnosed 9 years ago and invited me to walk 3 years ago with her. It has been an amazing experience to watch so many strong women out there pushing through and celebrating their milestones. This year is my first year fundraising and I’m so very excited to raise money for this amazing organization. For every $100 I raise someone who can’t afford a mammogram receives one. My goal this year is to hit $2,024.
